Om je blok uit te kunnen bouwen, moet je eerst alle bedrading, de radiator met slangen, en het uitlaatsysteem verwijderen.
Begin met het uitbouwen van de accu.
Dit voorkomt dat je sluiting maakt, en zoals het er naar uitziet, heb je hem voorlopig toch niet meer nodig.
Tank eraf en verder sleutelen.
p.s. Laat de kraan van je tank op "open" staan. Dit lijkt onlogisch, maar op deze manier is de kraan gesloten als de motor niet loopt, en kun je de tank uitbouwen, zonder dat je alles onder de benzine krijgt.
Dit vooral, gezien de huidige prijs van dit goedje. Wacht toch maar even met een sigaret opsteken tot je hem er helemaal af hebt.
Laat de koelvloeistof en motorolie aflopen.
Je krijgt het makkelijkste de koelvloeistof uit je blok, door de slang aan de onderkant van je radiator los te koppelen.
Op de middenstang van het frame net achter het balhoofdstel, zitten twee plastic kappen.
Onder deze twee kappen vind je de vulopening van je koelsysteem.
Draai de dop eraf. Hierdoor loopt ook het laatste beetje koelvloeistof uit je blok. |

To be able to remove your engine block, you first have to clear the wiring, remove the radiator, hoses and exhaust system.
Start with removing the battery.
This way, you prevent making shorts, and the way it looks, you wont need it for a while.
Of course, don't forget to remove the gas tank.
p.s. Leave the fuel-tap in the "open position". This seems illogical, but in this position the tap is closed when the engine is not running, and you can remove the tank, without spilling gas all over the place,
and considering the price of the stuff. Wait until you are fully done, before lighting a cigarette.
Next, remove all the cooling fluid and motor oil.
The easiest way to remove the cooling fluid, is to open up the hose on the bottom of the radiator.
On the main pipe of the frame just behind the steering column, there are two plastic covers.
Underneath this cover, you will find the radiator cap with thermostat.
Remove the lid. Now, the last bit of coolant will run out of the system.. |
