Dit is de vlotternaald.
Deze sluit m.b.v. de drijfkracht van de vlotter, de benzinetoevoer af.
Is de vlotternaald defect, of is de vlotter lek, dan blijft er brandstof in de vlotterkamer lopen, wat tot gevolg heeft, dat je vlotterkamer overloopt.
Op de volgende pagina leg ik een makkelijke manier uit, om te controleren of de vlotternaalden heel zijn.
Als je de vlotters uitbouwd, kun je in het licht goed zien, of ze lek zijn.
Er mag absoluut geen vloeistof in de vlotters zitten |

This is the needle
The needle closes a hole when the level in the carburetors is right.
It is attached to a float.
If the needle is defective, or the float is leaking, the needle is not closing the hole.
now gas keeps running into the float-chamber.
On the next page, I will explain a easy way to check needle and float.
If you remove the float, it is easy to see through holding it against the light.
Absolutely now liquid may be inside the float. |
